We return to a houseful of people at the McMurray house. Patricia continues her work as a Mad Scientist.  Aaron’s job is in the gaming field, though I don’t remember what his official title is. Zolos is practicing law, while his wife Sadie is a professional party guest. Their daughter Chandra is a toddler. (Are we counting…that makes 5 so far). Then…there’s Zuri, and she’s ready to settle down with her boyfriend Bill Gray. Let’s begin….

Toddler Chandra is getting lots of attention from her parents, grandmother, and other family members.

Poor Chandra doesn’t seem quite so sure about “Uncle” Aaron giving her a bath! Really, she’s cute as a button and spoiled rotten from all the attention she gets!

Chandra and her dad Zolos are already the best of friends. She loves her daddy! Sorry…I’ve got loads of cute toddler pictures of Chandra. Isn’t she the cutest thing???

Zuri finally got up the courage to ask her boyfriend, Bill Gray, to marry her. He said yes of course.

Zuri and Bill are married. Zuri is now Mrs. Zuri Gray.

About Bill Gray: Bill is a family sim, an Aquarius 4 neat, 4 outgoing, 4 active, 7 playful and 6 nice. He is a General in the military and has a good job (obviously), but moved in with just over $500. Go figure. He just seems like an over-all, all around good guy. (Maybe not the smartest sim on the block if you remember the skunk incident when he came home with Nikki Eldoret one day)

Next we have our token pregnancy shot. Zuri and Bill are expecting….and I know they will only have one child. How do I know that???? Do the counting…there’s already 7 people in the house! Hey, maybe I’ve discovered another way to avoid twins…just fill the house up with people prior to conception then have them all move out. Not a bad idea! Hmmm…moving on.

Hmmm…is it just me….or does it look to you like Chandra has absolutely no top lip at all???  I’m glad her eyes are so mesmerizing…because I seem to just see her eyes and hadn’t noticed the lip issue before.

Well….looks like that’s it for this rotation. Zuri finally got married to her boyfriend Bill Gray. Chandra had a birthday and is now a school-aged girl.

We will move on to the Owens family next. (I may have gotten things a little out of order? Ah well…no big deal. I’ll still play each family in the rotation).

I have sent the above teenagers to University.

As we return to the Eldoret household, Kennedy is an elder but continues to work as Captain Hero (gotta bring home that moola! If only I hadn’t allowed Nikki to retire…sighs).  Anyway, Cecelia and Ethan are attorneys in the law field. All have reached their LTW, except for Kennedy. He’s still working on making that $100,000. goal before he dies (and Heath of course as he’s still a teenager).

Heath is rather interesting looking. What I like about his looks above all else are his eyes. He inherited his grandmother’s big, beautiful brown eyes! Heath is an Aries, 9 neat, 10 outgoing, 9 active, 3 playful and 1 nice. He’s also a Romance sim. Let’s look at his gene field…Grandparents Nikki and Kennedy (Cox) Eldoret, and on his mother’s side there is Dagmar (Bertino) Green Carr and Clark Green. So….that explains a bit why he looks the way he does. Nikki has the beautiful eyes, Kennedy has the prominent nose and chin, and Dagmar is just plain unattractive (especially from a side view). So let’s just leave it that, while Heath is not the ugliest sim born in-game, he certainly wouldn’t win any beauty contests either!

Remember our friend (or should I say Patrick McMurray’s friend!) Lydia Monif?? Well, she came home from work with Kennedy one day, and she and Heath have been hitting it off quite well. Heath will be leaving for university soon, so perhaps there is a future for the two of them?

Kennedy and Cecelia continue to hate each other and are constantly trying to slap and poke at each other. I still have no idea why they feel the way they do. I have to watch the two of them, and redirect them often. Sometimes I’m busy elsewhere though, and they manage to continue their hate-hate relationship.

Ethan and Cecelia aren’t as young as they used to be either. They will become elders soon. While there is still time for them to have another child, I have decided against it. (And with ACR gone now it’s back in my hands!) 

While everyone else in the house is either at work or school, Nikki is enjoying her retirement (silly me…and only bringing in a measly $350 a pop…about 1/4 of what she would be making if I hadn’t allowed her to retire). She enjoys painting portraits of the family members, and is very close to her grandson Heath.

Nikki and Kennedy are still very much in love…and I’m glad that Nikki has been able to have such a fulfilling life.

Nikki and Kennedy are getting older and don’t have much time left. Their next move will be into the Lost Soul’s Cemetery.

So…to sum it all up…not a whole lot happened this rotation. Everyone is going on with their day-to-day lives and continuing to bring home money to increase their prosperity value. (Will have a financial update on all the families soon).

OOh…I almost forgot!!! And it’s the most important and exciting thing that happened this rotation too!!! Kennedy had a chance card, again the one about the robot, and this time he made the right choice and brought home a bonus of $50,000.00!!! That’s half his LTW…so…just maybe he’ll accomplish it after all! Way to go Kennedy!

Next I am going to send some teenagers to university.

Just wanted to inform anyone who may be reading this blog…I am going to disable ACR (Autonomous Casual Romance) because it’s just causing too many problems in game. The potential to destroy all the storylines/families I have created is just too great. Anyway, the population in my sims storylines in growing too quickly!

In order to finish, I need to reach to generation 5….so I still have a ways to go!

Addendum: Heath is generation 3 born in-game, so at least the end is in sight!

We return to the McMurray2 household, which consists of Sean, his wife Angela, their daughter Sasha…and Patrick (brother to Sean). All 3 have jobs.

Sean is a Senior College Professor.

Patrick is a UFO Investigator.

Angela is an International Corporate Lawyer, though she is at present a “stay-at-home” mom, taking care of her daughter Sasha. Sasha will soon have a birthday and will be attending school, thus allowing Angela to return to her job full-time.

In the meantime…..

While Sean and Angela appear very happily married, Patrick…on the other hand…is a romance sim. His LTW is to woo-hoo with 20 different sims. It will be interesting to see whether or not he can accomplish this. He has been working on Marylena Hamilton….and it seems to be working.

Patrick was successful at wooing Marylena into his bed. She is #3 on his list….and he only has 17 more to go! (#1 was Lynda Monif, and #2 was Christa Leelaporn).

Sasha had a birthday and is now a school-aged girl.

I changed her hair from the default style. Sasha is a Virgo/ 10, 1, 10, 8, 3.

Thanks to ACR (autonomous casual romance), Sean and Angela tried…not once….but on two different occasions for a baby with no direction from me! No lullaby sounds were heard though.

Patrick did something I have never seen the entire time I have played the Sims 2. He called up Christa Leelaporn on the phone (it showed a woo-hoo sign with a gold ruffle around it) and asked her over for a “booty call”! Yep, that’s what it was called…I kid you not…probably another surprise from ACR He then went outside and waited for her to arrive.

Since we can’t count Christa a second time, we are moving on to finding a new love for Patrick. I directed him to walk to a club, where he met a woman named Vivian LaTourneau. I’m not sure she felt the same way about him though. I’m wondering…surely it wouldn’t be cheating to use the services of the matchmaker in order to speed things up a bit…..would it????

Rotation summary: Sean and Patrick continued to work and bring in the bucks. They make around $2000. a day…so not bad! Angela stayed home and taught Sasha her skills. Sasha had a birthday, becoming a school aged girl. Patrick is one small step closer to her LTW of woo-hooing 20 different sims. Has anyone ever accomplished this before without cheating????? I really don’t think it can be done.

After a long hiatus, I have returned to (hopefully) complete this challenge! As we left the Landgraab family the last time, Mackenzie and Ronan had given birth to twin daughters: Melody (light skin/gray eyes like her mom) and Melanie (dark skin/green eyes like her dad); making Malcolm and Tiffany grandparents.

There seemed to be a couple of recurring themes this time around….a constant bad aroma and just plain stupidity! Of course, anyone whose sims have had twins knows that it is definately not an easy task to take care of them without cheating! Especially once they hit the toddler stage. This rotation was mostly just taking care of the babies Melanie and Melody…and trying to keep everybody else clean!

As much as he loved his new little grandaughters, there was no way Malcolm was going to change a diaper! Why, he couldn’t even stand the smell! He was definately in agreement when the idea of a nanny came up.

Uh….excuse me Calista….I hate to interrupt your game there…but am I really paying you to do that???

Mackenzie was just relieved when the nanny finally decided to come into the nursery and check on the babies. Melody was in desperate need of a diaper change…or was that Melanie?

Tiffany, our master chef, managed to start a fire while cooking dinner which caused a little excitement.

Hello???? Is anyone going to get this????

Apparantly not Mackenzie. Since she couldn’t cook anything on the stove she just went to the fridge and stuffed her face. I let it go for a while, wondering what would happen. Would someone eventually take it off the stove? Would another fire start because of it? Neither….I had to direct someone to get it and then clean it up.

There were a couple of good things to happen this rotation.

Ronan was promoted to president, further endearing himself to his father-in-law Malcolm.

And Melody and Melanie had a birthday.

So…that about does it for this rotation. I know…not too exciting…but at least Melanie and Melody are beginning to grow up a bit.

Remember the burglary when Malcolm’s treadmill was stolen? Well, that’s okay, because Malcolm will remember for both of us…and apparently he will never forget it either!

We now move on to the next family on our list…the McMurray2 family (Sean, Patrick, Angela and Sasha).

Ever since I installed the autonomous casual romance mod, I have definately seen my sims act on their own accord in the love department. Shortly after Chandra’s birth, a friend of Sadie’s visited (I don’t remember his name) and the two of them ended up doing a casual woo-hoo. Thankfully, Zolos was at work or who knows what would have happened!

Zolos and Sadie did an autonomous “try for baby” (even though Chandra was still a baby!), but luckily, no lullabye music followed. I’m pretty sure that was Zolos’ doing since he’s a family sim. And, as I’ve mentioned before, I’m having to watch Aaron very carefully because he sometimes wants to flirt with Zuri. I suppose there wouldn’t be anything wrong with that (he and Patricia aren’t married)…but…she’s like his step-daughter! 

Anyway…on to the summary. This rotation Zolos and Zuri moved back home from university. Zolos and Sadie got married, and had their daughter, Chandra McMurray. Zuri now has a boyfriend named Bill Gray. Patricia acheived her 2nd LTW! Poor Aaron…it’s getting a little harder to keep him happy. He really wants to have a child…but Patricia is an elder. I suppose he could adopt one. It wouldn’t dissapoint me if he was eventually abducted…but the chances of that happening are slight.

So…that’s it for the McMurray family. We now move on to the Landgraab family.

I suppose I share some of the blame…I did initially direct Zuri to flirt and kiss her boyfriend, Bill Gray. From her response, I don’t think she minded a bit! However…she took it from there and continued to make out with the guy. Unfortunately, her body temperature was already a little hot from running on the treadmill right before he came over.

Unfortunately, she suffered from heatstroke when her body temperature got way too hot!

She grabbed her forehead, and suddenly just fell on the floor. Surprisingly, noone seemed to be concerned about her lying there in the middle of the kitchen floor unconscious. I tried to direct her to make some lemonade, but she just lay there for a long time. At least I was worried about her!

Finally…after what seemed a very long time…she got up and made that lemonade. Notice that Aaron is watching her. It’s weird because, ever since I started using the autonomous casual romance hack he will occasionally show a want to flirt with her!

Zuri drinks her lemonade, which will hopefully help her to cool down a bit.

After drinking the lemonade, Zuri stripped down to her underwear and lay down. That’s good…seems a good way to cool off.

But…then…Bill suddenly joined her on the bed after stripping down to his underwear. Hmmm….I hope she knows what she’s doing. Looks like her body temperature is still too hot.

I guess she knew what she was doing. Her face looks like it’s back to the normal color. Who would have thought that woo-hoo would cool you off???

That was a close call though. It would have been awful if Zuri had died from her heatstroke.

Patricia has already reached her 1st LTW to become a Mad Scientist. She has been working on her 2nd LTW, which is to max out all her skills. She is sooo close now.

After getting another charisma skill point, Patricia finally reached her LTW to max out all skills!

I feel a little bad for Aaron. Everyone is working on their LTW, but he hasn’t been able to. Unfortunately, he is a family sim, and his LTW is to marry off 6 children. He’s living with Patricia, who is an elder and unable to have children. I don’t direct him to, but he will occasionally look through the big telescope. If he were ever abducted…that would be okay with me. It’s not likely to ever happen though.

He’s been making friends with one of the pack leaders that comes around. It would be kind of cool if he became a werewolf, since i’ve never had a werewolf in the game before.

Aaron with twin sister Angela Green McMurray. Angela is married to Patricia’s son, Sean and the mother of Sasha McMurray. Aaron is really a blond…but…when I created him in Bodyshop I accidentally messed up by giving him dark eyebrows. So when he became a teenager I had him change his hair to black. It definately makes him look a lot better!

Sadie finally had her and Zolos’ first child…a girl…and they named her Chandra. I’m really happy because she got her dad’s beautiful eyes, though she inherited her mom’s skin and black hair.

Chandra soon became a toddler. Zolos holds his daughter as she transforms into a toddler.

Zuri had slowly been gaining weight, but it wasn’t until her mother said something to her about it that she decided it was time to lose some of it!  After all, she did eventually want to meet someone and get married. She figured her chances would be better if she looked her best.

She worked out on the treadmill daily and began to lose some of the weight.

After a lot of hard work, Zuri lose the extra weight and was in better shape than she had been since before she left for university.

Be careful now! You don’t want to put it all back on now, do you?

Zuri thought the gardener was kind of cute so she talked to him one day. She had only 1 bolt of attraction for him though.

One of Sadie’s friends (Bill Gray) came by one day. He and Zuri hit it off really well.

They talked for a long time. Zuri felt very comfortable around him and felt like she could talk with him about anything.

There was definately a strong attraction between the two of them.

Patricia watches as her daughter and Mr. Gray flirt with each other.
